Fell for that fake password manager ad on Facebook

I saw this ad for a "premium" password manager that claimed to be on sale for $30 a year instead of $60. Figured why not, paid with my credit card, and the software was basically a blank window with no functions. Called my bank to dispute it and learned 15 other people had reported the same company out of Austin. Anyone else run into those sponsored ad scams that look too polished?

Did that "premium" password manager at least come with a free screensaver of a blank window? Sounds like the ultimate security feature, nothing to steal if there's nothing there.
