Rant: I thought those cheap drawing tablets were all junk
Bought a $40 one off Amazon last month expecting it to be terrible, but the pressure sensitivity is actually decent. Has anyone else been surprised by a budget art tool that actually works?

We get told we need the expensive gear or the perfect tools to start anything, but it's just not true. Some of the best results come from just working with what you have and learning the basics first. It's a good reminder that skill often matters way more than the price tag.
