PSA: My $40 wood filler experiment versus a $12 can of Bondo for a rotted window sill.
After the filler crumbled in the rain three days later, the Bondo patch from the auto parts store is still solid a month in, so has anyone else found a better fix for exterior wood rot?

What about epoxy wood filler instead?

Epoxy filler worked great for my old deck, @gibson.seth. Just make sure the wood is bone dry first.
