Just read that a standard moving box can hold over 60 pounds, which is way more than I ever thought.
I found that stat on a moving company's blog yesterday, and it made me rethink using flimsy old boxes for storing my heavy tool collection in the garage, so what's the sturdiest DIY container you've built for heavy stuff?

Seriously, people always underestimate how much weight a box can take until it rips. I've had the best luck with those heavy duty plastic totes with the locking lids for tools, way better than cardboard.

Yeah and the plastic ones don't get soggy when you leave them in the truck bed overnight. Cardboard just gives up.
