Tried running the old 8-inch cutterhead at full tilt in some heavy clay near Mobile

I figured more power would cut through faster, but it just gummed up the whole suction line in about twenty minutes. Now I'm stuck with a full day of cleaning and wondering if anyone else has a better method for that kind of sticky material.

We used a 40% water mix in that same clay last year and it worked way better.

Oh yeah, because last year's weather and clay batch were totally the same. Classic move, changing one thing and acting like nothing else matters. Guess we should just ignore all the other factors that were different. Works way better, sure, until it doesn't. Maybe write that down for next time so we can all have a good laugh.
