Heads up about the new facial bar on 5th Street

I went to the Glow Bar on 5th Street last Friday and saw they're using a single-use wooden spatula to scoop product from jars for every client. They just dip it back in after touching skin. In my view, that's a huge cross-contamination risk, even if the spatula is new each time, because the jar itself is now contaminated. Has anyone else seen this practice and know a better way to talk to a business about it?

You said they dip it back in after touching skin. That's the real problem right there. The jar is bad, but putting used product back is worse. They should scrape what they need onto a clean tray first. Then the jar stays clean and nothing goes back in.

Yeah, scraping onto a tray first is key. I just asked a manager if they could switch to that method and they were actually pretty open to it.
