Serious question, I used to plan every move for a big job down to the minute. After a disaster in St. Louis last year, I think that's a terrible way to run things.

Yeah, that's everywhere now. Schools pushing rigid lesson plans that fall apart when a kid asks a real question. Or my old boss who scheduled our day in 15-minute blocks. One customer call ran long and the whole system collapsed by 10 AM. Too much structure just breaks under real life.

But isn't some structure just necessary to get things done? The real world has deadlines and basic plans for a reason. Maybe the problem is just bad plans, not planning itself.
