Yesterday's nightmare subfloor turned into today's smooth install

I had this concrete slab that was all over the place with bumps and dips. I mean, it was so bad I thought the vinyl planks would never sit right. I spent a whole morning grinding high spots and filling lows with leveler, which felt like extra work. But idk, maybe it's just me, but taking that time made everything go down easy. Now the floor looks flawless and I'm really happy I didn't rush it.

Oh totally, I did the same thing (leveled my concrete) and now my floor is perfect!

Man, @jenniferchen, is it really that big of a deal? Most floors are not perfect anyway, it is just basic concrete. Unless you are putting down super thin tiles or something, a little slope never hurt anyone. Feels like people get really worked up over stuff you will never notice day to day. Seems like a lot of work for something that makes such a small difference. Just my two cents.
