Silent clown passenger paid me with a rubber chicken
Did a late night ride-share gig. The guy got in full clown makeup. Not a word the whole trip. He handed me a rubber chicken instead of a tip. Now it's just sitting on my dashboard. The fare was normal but that chicken is my bonus.

Lol that's not weird at all, that's a solid tip. A rubber chicken has way more character than a couple extra bucks. Totally get what @rowan593 is saying about creepy clown stuff, but this sounds like a fun inside joke. I'd keep that chicken on the dash forever, better story than most of my rides.

Picked up a guy once who spent the whole ride carefully holding a large, framed painting of a clown. It was one of those creepy old-timey portraits with the sad eyes. He just stared at it, then at me, then back at the painting without saying a word. When he got out he just nodded and carried it into a regular apartment building. Never found out if it was art or a family heirloom or some kind of threat. What's the weirdest object you've seen someone treating as totally normal?
