My realtor kept pushing for a Saturday open house and I was dead set against it

I figured nobody would show because it was a holiday weekend, but 23 people walked through and I got two offers the next day. Has anyone else had a specific showing strategy they thought was a waste that actually paid off?

My realtor did the same thing with my condo listing last year. She insisted on a Tuesday evening open house from 5 to 7 and I thought it was the dumbest idea ever because everyone is stuck in traffic or making dinner. 18 people showed up and three of them put in offers the next morning. Turns out people who work late love being able to swing by after hours without taking time off. Now I just let her pick whatever weird time she wants and it works every time.
