My couch paid the price for my dumb blinds choice
I believed regular blinds were cheaper and just as good. Then sunlight bleached my sofa over one summer. Now I run smart blinds on a schedule to block heat and UV rays. Some folks say it's overkill, but I see it as protection. What's your view on smart window covers?

Ugh, my friend learned that the hard way too. Her nice rug got totally faded in a south-facing bay window... ruined in like eight months. After seeing that, smart covers don't seem overkill at all.

It's basic home maintenance, not overkill. Blocking UV rays saves your stuff and cuts cooling costs.
