inDr. Shim Ching vs Dr. Bradford W. Lee for eyelid surgery?
That's what I've heard about Dr. Ching's technique. A coworker went to him in Oct. and said the same thing about the scars being basically invisible once healed.

inWarning: Skipping debugging practice when learning to code
Debugging is where you actually learn how to think like a programmer, not just write syntax. It forces you to understand why something broke, which is way more useful long term lol. Plus getting good at reading error messages helps you fix other people's messy code later.

inMy bubble bowl shattered in the kiln: bad glass or wrong temperature?
My last bubble bowl survived three firings before I even checked my kiln's calibration. Glass batches from suppliers are pretty consistent these days, so a whole bad batch is rare. I'd put money on the temp ramping up or down too fast for that specific thickness. Try a small test piece with a way slower heating cycle next time, it almost always fixes it for me.

inGrowing basil at home opened my eyes to the climate impact of imported herbs.
emery_davis, ruined forever is a strong take for a plant that mostly tastes like mint. Store-bought mint works just fine in iced tea or on desserts. Maybe your friend's garden is just that good, but most of us can manage with the supermarket stuff.
