Rant: That $80 'waterproof' backpack leaked on my laptop in a 10 minute drizzle

Took my new bag out for the first time near Seattle last Thursday and my work laptop got soaked while the inside of the bag stayed dry. The rain was barely even heavy - anyone else get burned by a supposedly waterproof product that couldn't handle a light shower?

Wait hold on, let me get this straight. The inside of the bag stayed dry but your laptop got wet anyway? How does that even work, did the rain sneak in through a zipper or something? That's almost impressive in how useless that design is, like a boat that floats but has a hole in the bottom. Man, I'd be livid if my work stuff got ruined like that, especially after paying 80 bucks for the privilege. Hope you can get your money back at least.

Ha, right? I swear my bag is some kind of magic trick that makes water appear out of thin air. Maybe the rain was just that determined to ruin my day, and it found a way through a microscopic gap in the zipper. Guess I should have just taped my laptop to my head like a proper rain hat.
