My coworker swore I was overthinking the password policy change, but I ignored her and it saved us 3 hours of reset calls
She said 'just roll it out and deal with complaints later,' but I spent 20 minutes writing a blunt email explaining the new rules first. Has anyone else had a hunch pay off like that even though everyone told you to stop worrying?

Always worth it to dodge the chaos train.

Yeah I feel that. Sometimes you just know when a situation is going sideways and you gotta bail before it gets worse. I've sat in too many meetings where everyone's arguing about nothing and I just slipped out the back. Saved myself hours of headache. People call it avoiding but really it's just knowing your limits.
