inMy team's lunch swap idea made meals affordable
Last week at our block party, my neighbor brought a 'tuna surprise' that looked more like cat food gone wrong. Everyone took polite nibbles while secretly eyeing the escape routes. Her face fell when she saw the barely touched platter, and I felt awful for her. Now I always bring extra snacks just in case, because nobody wants to starve out of politeness. Trusting potluck dishes is a gamble, but at least it makes for good stories later.

inNebula colors always looked fake to me, but I was wrong
Assumed nebula photos were always jazzed up for show. Learned they use filters that only catch light from certain gases, like hydrogen for red and oxygen for blue. Saw a breakdown of how the Hubble palette maps different emissions to colors. It made the whole thing look less fake and more just how space actually is.
