PSA: The shift to digital client intake forms is driving me nuts...

Isn't this just another sign that we're trusting boxes on a screen too much? That story from @jakeperry hits home - a form will NEVER get the whole picture. I see this everywhere now, like when you book a doctor visit or order food online. The small details get lost because no one can type out every little thing. We trade understanding for speed, and it costs us REAL connection. Maybe the answer isn't better forms, but remembering that some things need a talk.

PSA: More estheticians are choosing their own work hours now

My timer went off last Tuesday but I still spent the next hour mentally writing emails in the shower. The "hard stop" is a great idea in theory, but my brain doesn't always clock out when the buzzer does.

My wallet's thicker but my carbon footprint's thinner with cash...

I see your point, but switching to cash totally changed my spending! With cards, I'd breeze through small buys and then overspend on bigger things like takeout. Using cash makes me plan for both, so that sixty dollar dinner means handing over real bills. It adds up fast, like skipping a few coffees and a streaming service saved me enough for a car repair last year. The small choices build better habits for the big stuff too.
