Hit 6 years without canceling a single plan with a friend

I realized last night that every single coffee date or hangout I agreed to with different friends over the last 6 years actually happened, no cancellations, no reschedules. It hit me that consistency like that is basically the whole secret to keeping friends as an adult, right?

Honestly 6 years without a single cancellation is wild. That's like hitting the friend lottery or something.

My buddy Mark and I have been doing Monday night gaming sessions for like 5 years now and we've only canceled twice, both times because someone had a kid. I don't think it's that big of a deal you know? Friends who actually want to hang out make it happen. Six years is cool but it's not like some crazy impossible thing, just means the group communicates well and doesn't flake for dumb reasons.
