Rant: My friend group's group chat went silent for 3 months and it felt like a breakup
It just stopped after someone moved for a new job, and I didn't know whether to text everyone individually or just let it go. How do you even restart a conversation that's gone cold like that?

Was the chat the only thing holding you guys together? Sometimes a group fades because the real connections were already gone, and the move just made it obvious. You'll know if it's worth saving by who actually replies when you reach out.

Wow, you just made me see it differently. I always blamed the move for my old friend group falling apart. But looking back, we stopped making plans months before anyone left town. The chat was just the last thread holding a dead thing together.
