Colleague told me GPT-4 could write my mail merge scripts in 10 seconds flat

I spent 4 hours coding it myself first, tried his method, and got the same result in 8 seconds - has anyone else found a wild time saver like that?

@kelly.parker "who does that anymore" is a weird take. I mean yeah most people use AI now but acting like writing from scratch is some ancient lost art feels a little dramatic. It's really not that deep, people can do it either way.
