Found out my local library in Columbus gives away free state park passes
I was just checking the library website for book holds and stumbled on a page that said I can check out an Ohio State Park pass for a whole week, totally free, and I had no idea that was even a thing - anyone else's library do something like this?

This past weekend I actually read a news story about how libraries in Ohio started doing this a few years ago after the state set aside money for it. The pass covers parking and entrance fees but not camping or anything like that. I guess it is part of a push to get more people outside which makes sense since state parks are pretty underused during peak times. Might be worth checking if your library has a similar program since it seems like more are adding it.
