My old boss insisted I replace the entire AC compressor on a 2017 Civic, but a new apprentice said to check the clutch relay first.
He was right, it was just a $15 relay. Anyone else have a story where the simple fix was overlooked?

Used to think you always needed the big parts... but I've seen so many simple relay or fuse fixes now.

Right? It's crazy how often the fix is something cheap and small. I mean, you spend all this time worrying about the expensive computer or module, and it was just a ten-cent fuse all along. Makes you feel a bit silly for overthinking it.
