Warning: I had to choose between a new timing belt or a used engine for a 2008 Civic
Went with the belt job, cost me about $450 in parts and a weekend, and the old girl is running smooth again. Anyone have a good source for low-mileage JDM engines in case I face this again?

My buddy Mike got a JDM B-series for his Integra from a place in Florida called JDM of Miami. They had it shipped to a shop in Texas and it showed up super clean, like 40k miles.

Remember seeing a JDM K20 show up at a local meet with the valve cover still wrapped in that factory plastic. The owner said it came from a yard in Washington state and looked like it had never seen rain.
