My sister ripped my budget spreadsheet apart and she was right

She saw my $80/month on random app subscriptions and said 'youre just bleeding money for no reason'. I canceled 5 of them right there saved $45 a month. Has anyone else had someone call them out on something obvious like that?

Feel you on this one. I had a friend look at my credit card statement and point out I was spending $60 a month on a meal kit service I barely used. I felt so dumb because I'd just been letting it auto-charge for like 6 months without even thinking. It's one of those things where you know deep down it's wasteful but you just ignore it until someone calls it out. Honestly, sometimes we need that outside perspective to snap us out of it. Good on your sister for being real with you, even if it stung a little.
