A regular at the market told me my pork shoulder was the best he's had since his grandma passed.
Happened at the Saturday farmers market in Springfield, and it made all those 4 AM starts feel worth it.

Grandma-level praise sets a weird standard that can mess with your head. Chen.james might find it sweet, but chasing a ghost's recipe sounds like a quick way to burn out. The real win is making food that stands on its own merit today.

Grandma-level pork is the highest praise there is. I'd probably just start crying at my stall.
