I was at a lumberyard in Tacoma and heard a guy say he never uses biscuits for alignment anymore, just dominos. I always thought biscuits were fine.

My buddy had that same domino talk a few years back. He went out and bought one for his shop. The thing is, it just sits in its case now. He said for most normal cabinet face frames or panel glue ups, biscuits are faster for him and they hold just fine. He only drags the domino out for weird angles or when he absolutely needs that extra strength. Kinda proved to him that the fancier tool isn't always the right tool.
