TIL most cabinet hinges have a tiny adjustment screw for side-to-side gaps
I was fighting with a misaligned door for like an hour yesterday, and my old timer boss just pointed to this tiny screw on the hinge I never noticed. Turns out a quarter turn fixed the gap completely. Anyone else find those hidden adjustments after years of shimming?

Totally feel your pain, I shimmed a door for years before my neighbor showed me those screws. Such a simple fix that makes you feel like you've been doing it wrong all along.

Oh, hang on @nora_park72, I have to disagree a bit on the shimming part. Those adjustment screws work for prehung doors, but if you're dealing with an old house with shims and a poorly set frame, you'd still need to pack it right. I've had doors where the gap was too big for any screw to fix without crushing the jamb. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine after rebuilding a few old doorways.
