Appreciation post: My messy attempt at perfect milk frothing
In my experience, I wanted to get that silky foam for my morning drinks. Your mileage may vary, but I ended up with a bubbly mess all over my stove. I learned that going slow with the steam wand makes a big difference. Take this with a grain of salt, but now my cappuccinos look almost professional.

Whole milk from Smith's Creamery always gives me trouble. What pitcher angle works best for frothing? I keep a slight tilt but still get bubbles. How deep do you submerge the steam wand tip? Starting with cold milk below 40 degrees made a difference. Have you tried different milk temperatures?

Smith's milk is so tricky to froth. Barely submerge the wand tip and it helps. Cold milk is a game changer for sure.

It's funny how the smallest details can make or break a process. Getting the milk just right reminds me of mixing concrete, where a tiny change in water ruins the whole batch. Some things just demand a very specific touch.
