Can we talk about the time a press release went out with the wrong date?
That was last Tuesday. Our team sent a big announcement about a new product. The release said it was launching in March, but it was really April. We found out from a reporter's email asking for clarification. Had to send a correction to over 50 media contacts in under an hour. Now we use a three person check system before anything goes live. Has anyone else had to fix a major date error like that?

Yeah, that three person check sounds smart. I read a piece about how date errors are one of the most common PR mistakes, right up there with wrong names. It's so easy to miss when you've been staring at the same doc for hours. @susan488 knows the pain, it really throws your whole day into a panic, doesn't it? Do you find the new system slows things down too much, or is it worth the extra time?
