Can we talk about that viral 'cold cap' trick for color processing?

I was super skeptical until I tried it on a client with resistant gray last week, and her level 7 ash took perfectly in 25 minutes flat, so has anyone else tested this method on different hair types?

Stubborn gray hair doesn't just laugh, it puts on a full comedy show. That cold cap trick seems to work best on hair that's already in decent shape and just needs a nudge. Tried it on a client with really coarse, wiry grays and it barely made a dent, so the hair type seems to be the whole game. The method probably just chills the cuticle down fast to lock the color in, but if the hair is super resistant, the color never gets in to begin with. It's a neat shortcut, not a magic fix.

It's like when a life hack works great for some people but totally flops for others.

Honestly, my own stubborn gray hair would probably laugh at that trick.
