Finally won a refund after 6 months of arguing with my phone company...

Took me 43 calls and a threat to switch to Verizon before they admitted they'd been charging me $15 a month for a warranty I never signed up for. Has anyone else had to fight that hard just to get a company to admit their own mistake?

Wait, you don't have to threaten to switch, just call and ask for the billing supervisor.

Calling a billing supervisor wouldn't have helped me. They're just trained to say no until you actually leave.
