Had a 12-foot ceiling patch that needed blending. Ran out of my normal mud. Grabbed some leftover joint compound from a paint job. Actually worked better for the final skim coat.

Is winging it actually a plan though? Sounds like @nora_park72 just gave up on trying. Not sure that's something to brag about.
