I finally timed how long a manual extraction takes versus using a lancet

I was skeptical about lancets for a long time, but after timing myself on a client with stubborn blackheads, the lancet method was 15 minutes faster and way less red. It just felt more precise and controlled. Has anyone else switched tools and been shocked by the time difference?

Yeah, the "way less red" part is what sold me too. I used to think lancets were overkill, but the healing time after is just so much better. It feels cleaner and you don't have to press as hard.

Interesting how experiences can differ, @victorross. I've actually found the opposite to be true for me. The redness and healing time seemed about the same whether I used a lancet or a regular needle. The extra step just felt like more hassle for no real gain. It might come down to skin type or technique, but I never noticed that cleaner feel you mentioned. For my routine, the simpler method works just fine.
