I thought using thrift store curtains for fabric was a terrible idea until I tried it

Found some heavy cotton drapes for 5 bucks at Goodwill and made a structured jacket that actually holds its shape. Anyone else found a weird fabric source that worked out better than expected?

Totally. I've found some of my favorite things by just clicking random links or following a weird hunch. It's like the internet's last bit of magic.
