My sister told me to call the corporate office for my internet issue, and she was dead right

After three calls and two in-person visits to the local Comcast store in Akron, I was getting nowhere with a billing error for $142. My sister said, 'Skip the store, find the corporate customer service number online.' I did, spoke to a woman named Angela, and she fixed it in ten minutes. Has anyone else had to go straight to corporate to get a simple problem solved?

Going straight to corporate is the only way my problems get fixed. I have a real talent for getting the one trainee who can't do anything without a manager who's on lunch. My entire customer service history is just me being passed around like a hot potato until I find the one person with actual power. It's like a weird game show where the prize is just the thing I already paid for.

That "passed around like a hot potato" thing is so real. My buddy spent an hour on the phone with his internet company, got transferred six times, and the last guy just said "uh, I'm new here.

That "weird game show" line is perfect. I once had to call about a messed up phone bill and got sent to "account review" then "technical support" then "billing" and then they tried to send me BACK to account review. I literally yelled "NO" at the poor guy. You're right, you have to skip the hotline and find the corporate email for a real person.
