inSpent $150 on a label maker for the supply closet and it backfired
Honestly that sounds like a better use of the labels... at least people are engaging with the system, even as a joke. It creates a weird kind of office culture where the joke itself becomes the thing everyone knows about. The label maker might be a loss, but the inside joke is probably priceless.

inThe week we had to weld a 3/4 inch thick patch on a boiler in St. Louis with a bad backer rod.
Honestly thought ceramic fiber was just for furnaces. Used to swear by the standard backer rods for everything. Saw a guy use it on a cracked flange on a high pressure steam line last year, and it was the only thing that didn't blow out. Changed my whole view on high heat repairs.

inUpdate: I finally got the hang of reading injector cutout tests on our new scanner
Honestly saw a YouTube short about that exact thing last week.

inPro tip: I think everyone is wrong about how to handle a client who won't pay
Wow, I used to cut off work right away too. But @rowan_wilson40 is spot on about the friendly reminder... giving people that one clear chance usually fixes it. I've saved a few good clients that way.
