inSerious question, what's a good show to watch after a long shift?
My friend swears by 'Superstore' for that exact situation, it's light but still has a plot.

inI finally tried a 30 minute coffee chat with a stranger on LinkedIn
Totally get what you mean about getting good prep, but be careful with that specific example. Sharing the exact questions from a company's interview is often against their rules. That guy in Denver might have gotten in trouble if anyone found out. The real value in those chats is learning about the company's culture or the general skills they look for, not getting the test answers ahead of time. It's a better long-term strategy to build a real connection who can give you general advice, not confidential details. You want help that doesn't put anyone's job at risk.

inMy post hole digger snapped on a job in Boise last Tuesday
Oh man, that's the worst sound. I've had that happen with old clay pipes nobody knew were there. For a rock that size, a digging bar is the only way, but my back hurts just thinking about it. Next time, try soaking the area with a hose for a good while first, it can help loosen the dirt around the rock so you can work it out. Still a brutal job, but it beats snapping another handle.

inMy internet was out for 5 days straight and the company kept saying 'tomorrow'
Charlotte is a big city but my neighborhood had the same runaround last winter. They told me a tech was scheduled for three days in a row and no one ever showed. I get what black.claire is saying about good local teams, but when the company system itself loses your ticket, that's not a storm problem, that's them not caring. They hope you'll just get tired of calling. After a week of "tomorrow" you start to wonder if they even know what day it is.

inI saw a DIY smart home install at a friend's place in Denver that made me cringe
But does it actually matter though...
