Warning: My flat design only move stirred things up

I began using flat design for every job last spring. It got my work looking clean and current, but some folks say it feels cold and too simple. Is flat design still worth using for fresh ideas or should we look elsewhere?

Nebula colors always looked fake to me, but I was wrong

I figured astronomers just jazzed up the photos. Turns out, specific filters catch different gas emissions, and that's what creates the rainbow effect. I get it now.
