inI mean, our group in Portland read 'The Great Gatsby' in 2021 and again last month, and the arguments were totally different
Honestly yeah, that's such a good point. I read something a while back about how we basically rewrite the book in our heads every time we pick it up, because our own life stuff is the real filter. Like, reading about Gatsby's parties felt super weird and sad when we were all stuck inside, but now all I can see is him blowing a fortune trying to look a certain way. It's wild how a story can feel totally different without changing a single word.

inI was sure those cheap plastic lens spanner wrenches were junk until I fixed a stuck Canon FD 50mm
Yeah, "hardened steel" is a lot more convincing than "mystery metal." Hannah240 has the right idea, my cheap one came with a plastic pin that snapped off looking at a stiff filter ring.

inWarning: I think we're getting too reliant on load moment indicators
Wait, people don't do that already?

inUnpopular opinion: I was wrong about using a cheap anvil for decorative work.
My buddy swapped his out for the newer model and said it's way smoother now. Night and day difference for his workflow.

inBrandYourself vs Net Reputation for executive ORM?
Agreed. Net Reputation has the enterprise-level experience. They know how to handle complex PR issues and Wikipedia pages that standard automated software just can't touch.
