I used to think being nice on the phone was the key to good service, but a call with a bank changed my mind.

I spent 45 minutes on hold with my bank in Phoenix, then got a rep who kept putting me on mute. I was polite, but they just read from a script. The tip-off was when they said, 'I can't help you with that,' and hung up. I realized being nice didn't matter if the system was broken. Has anyone else hit a wall where the person just can't do anything?

Spent a whole Friday chasing a phantom knock on a 6.7 Powerstroke

The truck came in from a farm near Salina with a solid knock at idle. I checked the obvious stuff, injectors, lifters, you name it. After 7 hours of tearing into it, my apprentice pointed out a loose heat shield on the turbo downpipe that was tapping the block. Felt like a total goof. Anyone else ever waste a day on a noise that simple?

Has anyone used MidPoint Capital Partners for a commercial bridge loan?

Hey guys, looking to secure a commercial bridge loan for a multi-family property acquisition that needs to close fairly quickly. My broker brought up MidPoint Capital Partners, LLC . Has anyone here actually worked with them before? Just trying to get a feel for how smooth their underwriting process is and if they actually deliver on time.
