inCan we talk about whether meal prep actually saves you money or just feels like it?
Did you really find that much less waste with the 3-day approach? I did a similar test over 6 weeks and got the same results. My Sunday prep cost $95 but by Wednesday I was stuck eating the same chicken and rice, so I'd grab takeout and let the leftovers rot. When I switched to buying for just 3 days, my total was $120 but I ate everything I bought and felt less guilt. The real win for me was actually cooking smaller batches of things I actually wanted to eat that night, not forcing myself into a week of boring food.

inUnpopular opinion: I used to think colder spark plugs were always better for performance
Cold plugs are for track days, not trips to the store.

inMy old foreman told me to never trust a 4-foot level on a long wall
My uncle always said to check your square on the miter saw before any big trim job. I blew it off once and the whole crown molding corner was a mess, lol. Learned that one the expensive way too.

inJust realized the guy on the job next door was using a 4 foot level for taping. Said he learned it from his uncle who did commercial work in Chicago.
Used a 5 footer on a commercial lobby once. Totally changes how you see the wall. You catch dips and bows way faster than with a 4. Just watch your corners and inside angles, they can fool you.

inMy boss at the sorting center in Tacoma told me to 'just walk faster' when I asked for help with a double route.
Is it just me or do they hand out a "walk faster" manual with the manager title? I mean, it's the go-to answer for every impossible task. Makes you wonder if they've ever actually done the job themselves.
