Pro tip: Don't trust the 'quick fix' for your storefront sign like I did
Back when I first opened my little shop in Royal Oak, I needed a new sign fast and cheap. A guy I knew said he could do a vinyl wrap for the front window for $500 and have it up in a day. I was in a rush, so I went for it. The design looked okay at first, but after one Michigan winter, it was peeling and faded. Water got behind it and messed up the window frame, which cost another $1200 to fix. I ended up having to pay a proper sign company in Ferndale $2200 to redo the whole thing right. That 'deal' cost me almost $4000 total when you add it all up. I learned that with anything facing the public, you can't cut corners on the first impression. Has anyone found a good, affordable sign shop around here that actually lasts?
