inJust read that AI training can use more water than a small town
Wow, that number is actually insane. I saw a breakdown last month showing newer models are even worse because they train on way more data. Some companies are trying to use outside air cooling or build data centers in colder places, but it's still a massive hidden cost. Makes you question if all these AI features are really worth draining reservoirs for.

inJust realized I've been wiring my three-way switches wrong for years...
My buddy had a similar scare last year with his outdoor lights. He kept blowing fuses and couldn't figure out why, until an electrician friend traced it back to a reversed line and load at the first switch. He spent a whole weekend redoing every three-way in his place, muttering about old DIY books. Makes you wonder how many houses have little hidden mistakes like that, right?

inJust heard a guy at the hardware store say every painting failure is the painter's fault, not the paint.
What color was that wall AFTER it peeled?

inShoutout to the library in Springfield for changing how I run my book club
Heard a podcast where a club said those cards saved them from dissolving. They used them as a starting point, not a script. It kept the peace without killing the good arguments.
