Feel your pain, I once spent a whole Sunday trying to match grout and now my bathroom looks like a patchwork quilt. For blending, you can try a grout stain or a colorant, they sell it in little bottles. It's basically paint for your grout lines. You just clean the old grout really well and brush it on. It won't fix the tile being off, but it can make the lines all one color so the new spot hides better. It's still a finicky job but way less work than ripping everything out.
